Re-Sealing 2006 Grand Surveyor Roof

Ok... I purchased a VERY cheap 2006 Grand Surveyor 240BH Fifth wheel... It needs some love. Just put new floors in it this past weekend and worked on some leak issues which some I feel were more of a bandaid than a fix so.... On to my questions....

I have some 4" Eternabond tape on order. I just want to do the seams as I have little delamination in different places and little damage on the inside. But as I have learned, fix the leaks before repairing the inside. I currently have opened up some areas that I know have little damage inside so they can dry out.

The seams down the side of the roof are not on top of the roof but down the side of it. Seems like they are covered by the gutters. I was thinking about taking the tape and running down each side all the way. With the edge on top of the roof than possible down to the edge of the gutter (Well running over the edge of the gutter into it so nothing leaks behind the gutter which I think is currently one of my issues.) I saw in my searching of the threads on here that someone recommended removing the gutters and than applying the tape under where the gutters attach instead on top of the gutters. Then running some Dicor. They said due to the tape will stick better to the flat surface. Is this the best way to seal this seam since it is on the side? Or is my orginial plan better? Also if I take off the gutters, should I also reinstall them with new putty tape behind them? Also if the tape is behind the gutters, I will have to run the screws back through it... Is that ok?

Thanks for anyones help with this in advance. This forum is great since its very active and Forest River specifically. This is our first camper and we picked up a fixer upper as we wanted to make sure we got enough use out of it before diving into a loan on a newer model.
