There are sometimes too many negative comments on support received from manufactures. This past week I had a positive experience from Dometic. I went to their website and sent them a message. Not too long after sending the message I received an email from Cortney at Dometic Support. She hadn't found any information on my particular problem but wanted to talk to me about it and help me resolve. She provided me with her contact information so I could easily contact her. She offered to replace the thermostat to see if that would resolve my problem.
When we did talk she listened and understood the steps I took to try to resolve the problem. To help me with future diagnostics she sent me the pdf version of the diagnostics manual. If my problem reoccurs that I should contact her directly. If it does I will ask for a replacement.
My problem was the thermostat was resetting to Celsius and 67 degrees randomly during the day and night. I initialized the thermostat, something that the installer or dealer should have done. Problem looks like it is solved.
