Would you drill hole on the exterior wall of your coach?

I was planning to add some solar motion sensor light to the side of the coach above the entry door so it would lite up at night when return to the coach with the welcome light allow you to use your key to open the door or see the steps, etc. also, it would detect any motion approach the coach as well for security. The light would be attached to the coach by 2 screws, no wiring is needed because it is solar light. I am hesitated to drill holes to the exterior coach's wall.

Was wondering if anyone has done any similar thing such as attaching anything to the side of the coach. Did you glue the stuff on or drill to attach provide that you will seal for any possible water leak with caulking or similar.
