We have a 2015 40 foot trailer with 2 long slides and the 15k roof air has a tough time keeping up. I have read that rv a/c only cools the air 20 degrees from the incoming temperature. My question is would a 10k homeowner window mount cool more than the 15k roof mount. We are set up in a park where the owner hits us pretty hard for electric so efficiency is certainly a consideration. We have windows to the floor the whole backside of the camper so window units would not be an issue. Next largest problem is this park has only 30amp breakers. Yup that is a problem. Would two 5k window units take less power and do a better job than what we have? How about one 5k unit with what we have with nothing else running? Pros and Cons all the way around. Yes everything is clean and working well on current unit. Just asking is at home we have a 10k in the window that I think could almost freeze our camper but I could be wrong. Opinions?
