Generator plugs and load

I have a Predator 5500/6500 watt gasoline generator. It doesn't have the standard 30 amp RV plug. I'm assuming I just need an adapter from the 4 prong to the 30 amp. The microwave, AC and fire place need the 30 amp to operate, correct?
I'm worried it states - plug output at 120/240. I'm thinking, I will have to make a short pigtail and leave one of the 120 legs off (disconnected), correct?
Also, it says its a 23 amp circuit, but do not exceed 45 amp total. The spec sheet says it's a 240v 30a circuit. Thanks in advance for any help!:trink39:
