I figured my experience here might be helpful to others. We purchased our Shockwave F28SAGDX last fall, and got the optional sofa slide out. (I've referenced the identical floorplan Stealth and Sandstorm models in the title). We purchased the toy hauler to be able to bring along our (mine and my wife's) motorycles - BMW R1200RT and F800ST. One concern I had was loading these large bikes with the reduced space due to the slide out. I did a lot of measurements before buying, but was still somewhat nervous. We used the rig several times during the winter, but only today finally got around to loading the bikes.
Short answer: They fit!
Longer answer: It really was not a problem at all. I did have to remove the luggage (saddle bags) from the R1200RT, but that is not a big deal. One thing I did (wife's suggestion actually) was to mark where the slide out pillar comes in (you can see masking tape on floor in pictures), then open the slide out to load, just being sure to avoid egress into the previously marked space. That was a big help.
We love the extra space we get with the slide out, and I'm breathing easier now that I've actually loaded the bikes. Wish we had time for a trip!
(Apology for the "sideways" photos - cannot figure out how to fix that. Tried rotating before uploading - no joy).
