Recently several posts have been removed from this area of the board and we have had several folks wondering what has transpired.
When content is removed from the board (which is quite rare) the involved parties are notified about the removal and the associated reasons. We do this via Private message so that member privacy is maintained; member moderator interactions are not for public consumption and we make every effort to respect the privacy of all members.
Generally when posts are removed, it's because they ran afoul of our site rules in some way... name calling, personal grudges, trolling and "not nice" posting, etc. We understand that folks dislike having content removed but hope that the explanation offered privately can help them understand the reasons behind these actions.
Unfortunately sometimes we have a member who is simply is unable to follow the same rules of the road as everyone else and posts in ways that damage the larger community. While this rarely happens, when it does, the site team is faced with the difficult decisions.
FRF is a diverse community with about 80,000 members. There are many things we don't agree about but generally members are able to get along. It's unfortunate when one or two members set out to disrupt the larger community for their own purposes but it occasionally happens.
Let's focus on the things we have in common rather than pursuing personal agendas. Posting to incite drama is simply counter productive and we ask that you not do this. If you have a question message a moderator and we will try to help. The site team VOLUNTEERS to keep the board running smoothly and it sometimes takes a little while to get a response but we do our level best.
