Hi, folks. So I decided to replace the factory/stock plastic toilet in my Roo (2013 23SS) with a Thetford porcelain bowl one.
Taking out the old was a cinch. Bolting the new one to the floor, also a cinch.
But when I went to connect the water, I noticed the blue water line (very rigid plastic.. is this what is called "Pex"?) connected to the old toilet vertically, while the new toilet connection is horizontal, straight out the back, and a little lower.
SO, not understanding RV plumbing very well.. what do I need to do this? It looks like I need to cut off the end of the blue pipe a few inches down, and add some kind of 90 degree elbow to connect the pipe into the toilet. Do I need special crimping tools? Or special tool to cut the pipe? Is there a name for the fitting I need?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
