I cleaned the roof with Dawn dish soap today - had noticed a lot of black streaks forming on the front and side of the trailer and deduced it was dirt washing off the roof. While up there, I noticed two things that concern me:
1. The awning on the large slide-out seems a bit loose, has a belly in it that catches a lot of dirt and water. How does one tighten up the awning so that water and dirt do not collect, but runs off one end or the other?
2. I've attached pictures of gaps in the sealant on the front edge of the roof. Do those openings continue into the front wall of the camper, where does water go that leaks into those cracks and should I worry? Should they be primed, then sealed with appropriate products?
